This policy explains what information is collected when you use our website, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected. In plain English: our calculator runs entirely in your browser, and we do not collect your personal financial data.
2. Data We Collect
When using the Wealth Lifecycle Calculator, no personal data is collected by us, and we operate no servers that store your information. All calculations are performed locally on your device.
The application uses your browser's localStorage to save your current session state so you don't lose your work if you close the tab. This locally stored data includes:
- Portfolio names
- Investment parameters (current corpus, SIP/SWP amounts, expected returns, etc.)
- Currency preferences
- Inflation settings
We do not set any first-party cookies to track your behavior across this site.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide functionality and monetize the site, we use the following third-party services, which may collect information such as your IP address or browser details:
- Google Fonts: We use fonts provided by Google (via fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser fetches these fonts, Google may log your IP address.
- Chart.js: We load charting libraries via a content delivery network (cdnjs.cloudflare.com), which may log IP addresses for security and performance metrics.
- Google AdSense: We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements on the site. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads relevant to you. See Section 4 below for details.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

5. Your Rights

Because we do not store your personal data on our servers, there is no account to delete or data for us to export on your behalf. You have full control over the data stored in your browser.
How to clear your data: You can completely erase all calculator data saved on your device by clearing your browser's site data/localStorage, or by using the built-in "Reset/Clear" functionality within the calculator app.
You also have the right to opt out of ad personalization as described in Section 4.
6. Children's Privacy
This financial tool is intended for adults and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.
